Waiting for Cookies...

Every year, my two sister's and I exchange a small gift. We all live so far from each other, so it has to be something that will mail easily. After making my first Mini File Folder several months back, I decided that it would make a super gift, each pocket filled with some kind of goodie, such as Godiva Chocolate, Exotic Tea, Starbuck's On the Go Coffee tubes, etc. etc. Anything I can find to stuff them full.

For this one I decided to ink up some images I hadn't had the chance to ink yet! No kidding! So I used my Tin Boxes image and Waiting Tilda. Since the Tins are not joined it was easy to use them separately for the front and back. I masked Tilda onto the Chocolate tin and offset her just a little so I would have room to hang the Cookie Jar charm (Karen Foster) from some ribbon.

On the back, I stamped the jar twice and cut the center out of the second one. I then set a piece of acetate to that jar and mounted it to the bottom jar with pop dots. I made the hearts to be chocolate chip cookies. I couldn't get a good picture of the acetate, but it's there and it looks like a glas jar IRL.

Here'a a closer view of the back...

On the envelopes inside, instead of attaching matching papers to the fronts and punch label shapes to the tops, as I did to my other one, I used my MS Lace Edge punch to fancy them up a little.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look...
