I love the weekends...my hubby is home and I get a little more time in my studio to CREATE! I bought some new dsp yesterday...Making Memories "English Garden". I had seen a card using this paper earlier in the week and thought it was so pretty.
This week's sketch at Just Magnolias Challenge blog is so pretty. Here it is...
I took a few liberties and made a couple of changes, without altering the sketch too much. My Tilda is rather large and instead of making her a rectangular shape, I used my Nestabilities Scalloped Oval shape. It didn't leave any room for the sentiment on the side, but since she is holding a tag I used my sentiment, from Artistic Outpost "Poloroid Cutie" sheet, but had to use my "Big Ugly" stamp positioner to fit it in.
The ribbon is a retired SU piece that I always thought was just too big to be useful, but on this card it was perfect. The pearls are from Michaels. The little heart pin is from JoAnn's Fabrics, the beads were part of my Secrect Summer Swap partner, Vivi Casale and the bow is from a small piece of scrap organdy done with my Bow Easy. I also used my Atyou Spica gel pen to color the ribbon on the tag so it has some sparkle (which didn't photograph too well). Cardstock is So Saffron and Whisper White.
Here is a close up of Tilda...
Tilda is so happy that you dropped in for a visit. See you again soon...
